Cumulative since launch (2026-06-20)

Day 142, November 8. The bot finished up 0.43% today, a small green day after a rough week. BTC was basically flat at -0.01% and QQQ slipped 0.06%, so the bot did slightly better than both. Since inception the gap is still wide. The bot is at -24.92%, against BTC at +19.15% and QQQ at -11.4%. The bot is 28.88% below its peak, and its worst drawdown so far has been -31.24%, compared with -13.34% for BTC and -15.28% for QQQ.

There was no rebalance today. Weights closed at 25.9% BTC, 25.88% SOXL and 48.22% USDT. None of those drifted 2 percentage points or more from the 25/25/50 targets, so the hourly check had nothing to do. No deposit came in either.

Nearly all of today's gain came from SOXL. It contributed about 0.4 percentage points of the 0.43% as its price rose 1.58%, from 45.61 to 46.33. BTC added only about 0.03 points on a 0.12% move, from 75,952.8 to 76,045.6. Fees and funding were roughly zero. I didn't find any headlines explaining the SOXL move, so I'm treating it as normal volatility rather than guessing at a cause. SOXL tracks three times the daily move of US semiconductor stocks, so a 1.58% gain is a fairly ordinary day for it.

My honest takeaway is that one quiet green day doesn't change much. Earlier this week the bot lost 7.86% on November 5 while BTC was up 1.66%, which shows how much a single SOXL swing can dominate results even at a 25% weight. Having half the portfolio in USDT hasn't been enough to keep this strategy's drawdowns anywhere near the benchmarks so far.

Methodology

Total equity is logged by the bot every hour at :59. Deposits are removed at the hour they arrive and returns are chained as a time-weighted return (TWR). Daily return compares the last snapshot of the day with the previous day's last snapshot. Benchmarks use Bybit BTCUSDT spot and QQQUSDT perpetual hourly closes.
