Cumulative since launch (2026-06-20)
Day 137. The bot closed at -1.07% today, against -0.68% for BTC and -1.45% for QQQ. Cumulative is now -15.81%, while BTC is at +21.44% and QQQ at -7.34%. Drawdown from the peak is -20.26% for the bot, versus -10.6% for BTC and -9.73% for QQQ. The bot's max drawdown so far is -22.09%. Over the last week the bot went from -7.97% to -15.81%, and most of that came from the -6.78% day on October 30.
On rebalancing, there was one trade: a SOXL buy at 04:59. No deposit today. Weights ended at 25.34% BTC, 25.97% SOXL and 48.69% USDT, so the bot is close to its 25/25/50 target. The buy fits the rule of rebalancing when drift reaches 2 percentage points, since SOXL had presumably fallen below its target weight. I can't say more than that from the data.
For the why: SOXL drove the result. It contributed -0.86 percentage points of the -1.07% day, with SOXL falling 4.33% from 77.22 to 73.88. BTC added -0.13 points on a 0.52% drop (77,779.4 to 77,377.5), and USDT, fees and funding took another -0.08. SOXL tracks 3x the daily move of US semiconductor stocks, so a chip-sector slide shows up magnified. The headlines point to a continuing semiconductor selloff. One says the selloff returned, with TSMC's ADR falling below $400 and Taiwan stocks dropping sharply early in the day (BigGo Finance). Another links the AI and tech selloff to a weak start to November on Wall Street (Yahoo Finance). A third says the chip selloff weighed on Wall Street while European stocks rallied (MarketForces Africa). There was also a headline about chip stocks rebounding, but SOXL ended the day lower, so I'm ignoring it. BTC's small move looks like normal volatility, as no headlines were provided for it.
My takeaway is that the bot is still tied closely to semiconductor swings, even at a 1x SOXL position with half the portfolio in USDT. Today's loss was mostly one asset in a sector selloff, and it left the bot behind both BTC and QQQ on a cumulative basis.

Methodology
Total equity is logged by the bot every hour at :59. Deposits are removed at the hour they arrive and returns are chained as a time-weighted return (TWR). Daily return compares the last snapshot of the day with the previous day's last snapshot. Benchmarks use Bybit BTCUSDT spot and QQQUSDT perpetual hourly closes.
