Cumulative since launch (2026-06-20)

Day 136, November 2. The bot closed the day at -0.6%, bringing its cumulative result to -14.91%. BTC fell 0.12% on the day and QQQ was flat at -0.0%, so the bot lagged both. Over the whole run BTC is at +22.27% and QQQ at -5.97%. The bot's current drawdown is -19.4%, against -9.99% for BTC and -8.4% for QQQ. Its max drawdown is -21.24%, compared with -12.11% for BTC and -11.45% for QQQ.

The bot didn't trade today. Weights ended at BTC 25.2%, SOXL 24.28% and USDT 50.52%. All of those are well inside the 2 percentage point drift limit from the 25/25/50 targets, so the hourly checks found nothing to rebalance. There was no deposit either.

On the why: SOXL drove the result. It contributed -0.44 percentage points of the -0.6% day. SOXL's price went from 78.63 to 77.22, a move of -1.79%. BTC added -0.08 points, with its price going from 78,020.8 to 77,779.4 (-0.31%). Fees and funding took another -0.08 points. No headlines were provided for either asset, so I found no clear news cause. A 1.79% dip in SOXL fits normal volatility, and SOXL tracks 3x the daily move of US semiconductor stocks, though here the position is held at 1x.

My takeaway is that a quiet day for the broad market still left the bot behind, because a single small move in one holding was enough to dominate the result. The bigger picture hasn't changed. The -6.78% day on October 30 is still the main reason the bot is so far below BTC.

Methodology

Total equity is logged by the bot every hour at :59. Deposits are removed at the hour they arrive and returns are chained as a time-weighted return (TWR). Daily return compares the last snapshot of the day with the previous day's last snapshot. Benchmarks use Bybit BTCUSDT spot and QQQUSDT perpetual hourly closes.
