Cumulative since launch (2026-06-20)

Day 135. The bot closed at 23:00 up 0.54% for the day, which brings the cumulative result to -14.39%. BTC gained 0.7% today and QQQ gained 0.45%, so the bot slightly beat QQQ and trailed BTC by a small margin. Over the longer run the gap is still wide: BTC is at +22.42 cumulative and QQQ is at -5.97, while the bot sits at -14.39. The bot's drawdown is -18.91%, against -9.88% for BTC and -8.4% for QQQ. Its worst drawdown so far is -21.24%, versus -12.11% for BTC and -11.45% for QQQ.

The rebalancing did not trade today. There were no deposits and the trade list is empty. Weights are BTC 25.12%, SOXL 24.57% and USDT 50.3%, which is very close to the 25/25/50 target. The rule only rebalances when drift reaches 2 percentage points, and none of the three assets came close to that, so the bot left everything alone.

On the why: SOXL drove today's result. It contributed 0.34 percentage points, with its price moving 1.41% from 77.54 to 78.63. BTC added 0.2 percentage points as it rose 0.81% from 77,393.4 to 78,020.8. Fees and funding cost essentially nothing today. No headlines came through for either asset, so I found no clear news cause, and I'll treat these moves as in line with normal volatility. SOXL tracks 3x the daily move of US semiconductor stocks, so it can swing more than the broader market.

My honest takeaway is that a small green day barely dents the damage from October 30, when the bot lost 6.78% in a single session while BTC fell 3.94% and QQQ fell 2.25%. The 50% USDT cushion did not stop that drop, and I'm still about 14% under water after 135 days. Today was quiet and the strategy did what it is designed to do, but one calm day doesn't change the bigger picture.

Methodology

Total equity is logged by the bot every hour at :59. Deposits are removed at the hour they arrive and returns are chained as a time-weighted return (TWR). Daily return compares the last snapshot of the day with the previous day's last snapshot. Benchmarks use Bybit BTCUSDT spot and QQQUSDT perpetual hourly closes.
